Gluten Free Chocolate Muffins

1 cup peanut butter or almond butter

½ cup pumpkin puree or butternut squash

¼ cup cocoa powder

2 eggs

½ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ cup honey

¼ cup maple syrup

½ cup dark chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line muffin tins. In a large bowl, blend all ingredients with electric mixer until smooth, then add chocolate chips. Fill muffin liners half-full. Makes about 10-12 muffins. Bake for 20 minutes and cool.

Grain Free Waffles

6 eggs

 2 cups raw and soaked cashews

2/3 cup almond milk

6 tbs coconut oil, melted (or avocado oil)

½ tbs salt

6 tbs coconut flour

1 ½ tsp baking soda

Preheat waffle iron. Combine eggs, cashews, milk, maple syrup and oil into a blender.  Blend until smooth. Add salt, baking soda, coconut flour and blend another minute. Grease waffle iron and pour desired amounts of batter in and cook.  Add chocolate chips before you cook if desired.

Bloat Be Gone

1 cup Filtered water

1 Tbs organic lemon juice

1 tsp of ginger

1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp cinnamon

1 Tbs apple cider vinegar

1 tsp raw honey

Boil water, put juice into mug, add spices and honey and pour hot water over and stir.
